TMCF | Jacobs HBCU Scholarship Program

Scholarship Overview

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Jacobs are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Ten (10) scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship of $5,000 for the 2025-2026 academic school year. The total eligible scholarship amount will be allocated in one installment during the Fall 2025 semester (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees).

Eligibility Requirements:

Be a full-time enrolled student as an undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior at any HBCU during the 2025-2026 academic school year Open to the following majors: Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Geology, Geological Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Engineering, and/or Urban Planning Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher Must have the 2025-2026 FAFSA on file at your selected university/college by the time of selection Must be able to demonstrate a financial need Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551

Scholarship Allocation:

The eligible total amount will be funded in one disbursement for the 2025-2026 academic year, based on the conditions outlined in the scholar’s contract.
