TMCF | Medtronic Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Medtronic Foundation are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and publicly Black institutions (PBIs). Forty-five (45) scholars will be selected to receive a need-based scholarship of up to $8,500 for the 2025-2026 academic school year. The total eligible scholarship amount will be allocated in two installments: one during the fall 2025 semester and the second during the Spring 2026 semester (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees).

Eligibility Requirements:
Be a full-time enrolled student as a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior at any HBCU for the 2025-2026 academic school year
Open to STEM majors
Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
Must have the 2025-2026 FAFSA on file at your selected university/college by the time of selection
Must be able to demonstrate a financial need
Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551

Scholarship Allocation:
The eligible total amount will be funded in two disbursements for the 2025-2026 academic year, based on the conditions outlined in the scholar’s contract.
