TMCF | MassMutual Access Scholarship

Scholarship Overview
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and MassMutual are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending TMCF’s member schools that include 56 publicly-supported historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), historically Black community colleges (HBCCs), publicly Black institutions (PBIs), medical and law schools. Fifteen (15) scholars will be selected to receive a need-based scholarship of up to $5,000 for the 2025-2026 academic school year. The total eligible scholarship amount will be disbursed as a single payment during the Fall 2025 semester (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees).

Eligibility Requirements:
Be a full-time enrolled student as an undergraduate at a four-year TMCF member school during the 2025-2026 academic school yearqwe3
Must be majoring in math, statistics, economics, finance, computer science, data science and technologies, physics, any business, supply chain management, or actuarial science
Current cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher
Must have the 2025-2026 FAFSA on file at your selected university/college by the time of selection
Must be able to demonstrate a financial unmet need
Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551
Cannot be an employee, officer, consultant/service provider or board member of partner or TMCF; or, a family member of any such individual

Scholarship Allocation:
The eligible total amount will be funded in one disbursement for the 2025-2026 academic year, based on the conditions outlined in the scholar’s contract.
