NextEra Energy Scholarship Program

The NextEra Energy Scholarship Program is a postsecondary scholarship to provide renewable, merit-based scholarships to Junior Year students who identify as diverse in ethnic background, who are full-time attendees at four-year colleges and universities and who are majoring in STEM, (excluding healthcare majors) and business disciplines; as well as those seeking technical degrees with a renewable energy focus.

Awarded scholars will receive up to $5,000 in their Junior Year and up to $5,000 in their Senior Year.

Required to Apply:
A Current College Transcript,
2 Written Essays,
A Complete UNCF Application Package,
A financial aid award letter from your college or university,
A copy of your 2024-2025 FAFSA Form.
