The Johnny D. Thornton and Angela Boyce Thornton Endowed Scholarship

The recipient(s) shall be determined by the Scholarship Committee of NCCU. The Scholarship Committee shall apply the following criteria in the selection of the scholarship recipient(s). Recipients must be enrolled at NCCU in good standing. Primary, recipient must be an out-of-state student, if an out-of-state student is not identified, secondary, an in-state student (North Carolina), with a minimum of 2.0 GPA with demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Scholarship and Aid. In addition, a student(s) who meets emotional needs support and is officially identified through the University Counseling Center.
