Carey A. Booker Endowed Scholarship

The NCCU Scholarship Committee shall determine the recipient(s) and apply the following criteria in its selection process. Recipient(s) must be: 1) A permanent resident of Hendersonville or Henderson County, North Carolina, with a minimum grade point average of at least 2.5. 2) If there is no qualified student from Henderson county, then the recipient must be enrolled in the NCCU School of Business and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0. 3) The recipient(s) must be in good academic standing as defined by NCCU; and 4) Demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Office of Scholarships and Student Aid. The recipient(s) may apply for renewal of this annual scholarship if he/she remains in good standing with the University.
