The Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship
The Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship provides up to $5000 need-based awards to students who are the first in their families to attend college or university to assist in funding their undergraduate or graduate degree. Restrictions for this program is limited to full time matriculation at one of UNCF’s 37 member institutions, with the exclusion of; Spelman College, Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University or the Interdenominational Theological Center.
Applicants for the Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship program must meet the following eligibility requirements:
1. For the current academic year of 2024-2025, students must be an undergraduate or graduate enrolled full-time at a UNCF member college or university, with the exclusion of; Spelman College, Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University or the Interdenominational Theological Center.
2. Students must be First Generation – first in their family to attend 4 year college or university,
3. Students must have a demonstrated unmet financial need as verified by their college or university.
4. Students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Application Requirements
For consideration, applicants must submit the online application complete with the following required application materials by the application due date of September 30, 2024.
1. Current academic transcript.
2. Essay.
Selected students for the 2024-2025 Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship will receive up to $5,000 need-based award in the fall 2024.
Students who are currently enrolled in one of the following UNCF member institutions ARE NOT eligible for the opportunity: Morehouse College, Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University, and the Interdenominational Theological Center. For questions please email Girmu Habte
