2024-2025 Procter & Gamble HBCYOU Scholarship Program

The Procter & Gamble HBCYOU Scholarship is for full-time students who have a 3.0 or higher GPA. Eligible applicants must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at any U.S. located, accredited, four-year college or university.

Since 1944, Procter & Gamble (P&G) has collaborated with the UNCF (United Negro College Fund) to support students with scholarships, product donations, career development opportunities and on-campus experiences delivered by brands they love. Today, P&G partners with UNCF through its HBCYOU Program which aims to foster relationships across the HBCU (Historically Black Colleges & Universities) community and create positive impact by celebrating and elevating students, because YOU are the future. Eligible Applicants for the Procter & Gamble HBCYOU Scholarship Program will:
Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Be enrolled as a full-time student at any U.S. located, accredited, four-year college or university
Be a U.S. Citizen, a permanent resident, or those with an immigration status under: A03, A05, A12, C08, C33, C31, or A11.
Have demonstrated unmet financial need as verified by their college or university through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Complete the UNCF online application which includes but is not limited to a submission of your transcript and a description of extracurricular activities, honors and awards, community service and educational pursuits
All majors are eligible for considerationOPTIONAL: As a part of the application process, YOU have the option to invite a Reference / Recommender using our online form to request a Recommendation from a faculty member, advisor, or professor. If you have a Reference / Recommender, it must be a non-family member.
Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants who have submitted complete applications by the December 31st deadline will be notified of scholarship decisions within 10 to 12 weeks after the application due date.
