TMCF | UNITED HEALTH FOUNDATION DIVERSITY IN HEALTH CARE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The United Health Foundation is working to advance health equity and eliminate health disparities by helping support a health workforce that reflects the populations it serves. This is why the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) with support from the United Health Foundation, is proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs) through United Health Foundation’s Diversity in Health Care Scholarship Program. Seventy-five (75) scholars will be selected to receive a renewable scholarship up to $5,000 (up to 4 years, max up to $20,000) for the 2024-2025 academic school year (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees). The United Health Foundation, the philanthropic foundation of the UnitedHealth Group, has committed $100 million to support a workforce that draws on a diversity of backgrounds and experiences to provide culturally competent care.
