UNCF - 2023-2024 LeBlanc/Baker Scholarship for Change

Administered by UNCF, the LeBlanc/Baker Scholarship for Change provides a renewable need-based scholarship of up to $4,000 annually to Black/African American male students who will attend an accredited, four-year Historically Black College or University (“HBCU”) in the fall of the 2023-2024 academic year. Preference is given to candidates who are graduating seniors of a DC Public School (DCPS).

Applicant Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

· Black/African American male.

· Minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, but not higher than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

· 2023 high school graduate planning to attend a UNCF Member Institution or any other accredited, four-year HBCU.

· Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with a demonstrated unmet financial need to be verified by the intended or current institution.
